PEDAS Sunday Sessions are held at the Church of the Holy Angels Hall in Lilliput Rd, Poole BH14 8JX, usually on the 1st Sunday of the month. The Hall opens at 2pm to start at 2.30pm until 4.30pm with a tea break.

5th May:
Spring Flowers in mixed media
Dee Cowell shows us how.
Equipment
Some spring flowers
A canvas board A4 or A3 in size (I buy mine from The Range)
Acrylic paints
Inks
Brushes
Disposable palette and a plastic cup palette to take inks
Brushes
Painting knife
Water soluble pencils – what ever you have
A few pastels – white in particular
Kitchen towel
Newspaper to cover the desk
Water jar




2nd June:
Painting Ceramics
Bella Ceramics will bring all equipment needed such as brushes, paint etc. There will be a selection of items for decoration costing £8- £12 so please bring some cash. PEDAS is paying for the tuition. Bella Ceramics will take away your painted items and fire them. They will be returned to members for the July Sunday session.




7th July:
Lino cutting & stamp making
As well as an Artist, Sue Smith is a member of Poole Printmakers and this afternoon will guide us through the first steps of Lino cutting. Sue will provide some easy images. She will also show you how to make easy stamps which can be used on stationery and on your artwork using readily sourced and economic materials.




4th August:
British Modernism
Abi Kremer will give an illustrated talk on British Modernism, in relation to the art on show in the collection of Southampton City Art gallery - this will feature the Bloomsbury group and Camden Town group.
