PEDAS has been offered Lighthouse Main Gallery and the Top Floor exhibition space in honour of their Centenary year.  ​

Poole and East Dorset Art Society are looking for great pieces of art, made by former Members, to go into an exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their Art Club.

They are combining with Lighthouse, Poole, for the exhibition, in June and July, this year, that tells their story and features the best of their art from the last 40 years.  “We can track down a lot of good pictures” said John Biggs, President of Poole and East Dorset Art Society, “but a lot of the best work was sold in galleries and is hanging on walls in private houses, all over the place.  We are trying to find some of those pieces and are asking people to look at the pictures on their wall and if you think they might have been done by an artist in Poole and East Dorset Art Society, let us know.”

So, if you think you might have such a painting, get in touch on contact@pedas.org.uk and they’ll let you know if it might be by one of the Members.  Include a photo of your picture if you can.  You can find a list of artists and more details about the exhibition on their website, https://pedas.org.uk
