News from Upton Country Park, Gallery Upstairs and PEDAS

Please note the Heritage Open Day this Sunday 11th September, 2022 at Upton House (including Draw the Dandy Chargers) has been cancelled/postponed by Upton House in respect for Her Majesty the Queen.
Upton House has also advised that If you have a ticket to the Upton House tours, please know that they look to arrange a similar event soon. Please do keep your eyes on the Upton Country Park Website, Facebook and Instagram for similar events in the near future.
The Friends of Upton Country Park have also decided to not go ahead with their usual house opening on Sunday 11 September.

 At the Gallery Upstairs - Ferndown Art Society

Currently showing at the Gallery Upstairs until 12 Sept - Art and Craft exhibition by members of   
Ferndown Art Society. Take a stroll in the beautiful surroundings of the park followed by this exhibition, a colourful mixture of abstract and figurative paintings.

PEDAS

The Gallery Upstairs is run by volunteers from PEDAS (Poole & East Dorset Art Society).
PEDAS is a long established and very active local art society. The programme is never dull or predictable. See links below for some of our upcoming activities.​

Wednesday Afternoons
PEDAS meets on a Wednesday afternoon, at Alderney Community Centre, 287 Herbert Avenue, BH12 4HT, between 2-4pm, during term time.

Non-members welcome.​ £3 for members, £5 for non-members

​Sunday Afternoons
LILLIPUT CHURCH HALL, The Church of the Holy Angels, Lilliput Road, BH14 8JX, on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Please arrive in good time to start at 2.30pm, finish at 4.30pm.

PEDAS will be exhibiting at an open day at Dunshay Manor, Harmans Cross, Swanage BH19 3EB on Saturday 17th September. The day is run by the Landmark Trust and we have been asked to provide artists to demonstrate their work throughout the day. Read more
